If you’re browsing the web looking for the perfect treat for your little darlings because they’re barking mysteriously, they have that glazed look in their eyes or they’re trying to ask you something with a paw on the back of your hand ..

Well you’ve come to the right place!

I created Treats 4 Dogs with nothing else in mind than making dogs’ lives better, by giving them a safe creative range of physically and mentally stimulating treats.

I have a 100% Australian owned business and I have always taken pride in my extensive range of Australian manufactured products over the years. I’m also proud to support some of our creative international manufacturing companies.

I try to give practical, common sense advice from decades of experience as a dog treat specialist, but it is important to remember to use treats in a safe manner.

If you have a dog or puppy that is not used to treats, it’s important to take it slowly and watch that they eat the treat safely.

If you have a gobbler, soft treats, ears or long-lasting rawhides can work well, but possibly not bones or sharp objects.

If you have a fussy one, kangaroo jerky & smaller reward treats are the answer. If you’re training your puppy or dog, my Australian liver range will have them melting at the door step. And if you want to clean their teeth, kangaroo tendons & shark cartilage will keep their pearly whites sparkling.

In addition, I have a great range of fish & shark cartilage to help arthritic dogs too. It’s good to mix it up for a range of health advantages. I recommend natural rawhide, as it is generally safer than bones because rawhides don’t shatter and they soften while being eaten. They are lower in fats and are usually longer-lasting if you grab the right one for your dog size. I only sell natural, unbleached rawhide products, because I believe bleached products are harmful to dogs.

If you are a bone buyer, or are new to giving bones, I recommend watching your dog at all times with bones due to choking or compaction hazards. Some dogs are safe on bones & will grind away at them quite carefully, but if you have a powerful dog who can smash bones easily, take care, because all bones can be a risk, raw or cooked.

ORDERS

Generally, orders are sent with Australia Post or an Australian Transport Company & will take approximately 1 to 3 days to process prior to sending, but there can be exceptions. Some products are manufactured fresh & some destinations take longer than recommended by postal services. In addition, deliveries have been greatly slowed by Covid-19, so please be patient – your order will normally take 7 to 14 days depending on product & location.

LOST ORDERS & REFUNDS

Treats 4 Dogs holds no responsibility for products after being sent or lost in the post. They become the responsibility of the postal service & its claim system. However if you have not received your order after 20 days, please contact me immediately.

CLAIM PROCESS

You can wait for the claim process to be completed in which case your order will sometimes arrive late, or you will receive a refund after completing the claim. Sometimes a post office form is requested to be completed for claims refunds. If a claim process reveals your order is lost and can’t be tracked, I sometimes offer to send a second package to save you waiting, if you agree to reimburse me if a freight company refunds directly to you, the receiver.

If the original order is found and you receive two orders please contact me and I will send a return postage label and ask you to please send the additional package back.

No amount of words could thank you enough, many of you were there from the start at Brisbane Market Place where for 16 years I ran the best dog treat stall ever seen. It’s a lovely compliment to have you all still supporting me after such a long time.
